Features of our software include student database, teacher database, attendance, gradebook, report cards, transcripts, scheduling, parent portal, etc. You can check it out at [login to view URL] We are growing and at this time, we are looking for a few highly experienced senior engineers with deep expertise in Java and web development technologies to help screen/vet numerous candidates who have applied to work with us. The job will have a lot of flexibility. We'll let you know the available projects on a regular basis, and you can choose to work on them depending on your schedule. We're looking for these skills: * Software development leadership expertise * Excellent experience with Java, JavaScript and jQuery * Familiarity with HTML/CSS * Web application development experience To apply, fill out all the questions listed in this ad. Interview Exercise =============== We want to get an idea on how you evaluate and score each submission of a piece of code. Once you've reviewed the code, you will give a score from 0.0 to 5.0. You may use up to 1 decimal point if you wish e.g. 2.8, 3.5, 4.6, etc. Just to be clear, 0 is bad. 5 is good. Description of the code part ======================= We would like to get an idea of your ability to evaluate and score HTML/CSS/JavaScript/JQuery code. Code Goal The goal of the code that you will be evaluating is to design the page as shown in <a href="[login to view URL]" target="_blank">this screenshot here</a>. The box on top is how the screen should initially look like. When the user clicks on the "Click Me" button, the new section will appear. If the user clicks on the button again, the section should disappear. The code language is in JQuery and will have standard CSS, so NO need to evaluate for complex cross browser hacks.
