Church Values

Our church, North Platte Berean Church, is wanting to create a simple, 60-90 second video that illustrates three main things:

1. Our mission, "Leading people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ."

2. Our values, "Treasuring God, Being Transformed, Loving People, Pursuing Unity"

3. Our strategies, "The Word, Prayer, and Community"

Our desire is to use a motion graphics video with crisp, simple vector images illustrating the three objects stated above. We are imagining it with bright contrasting colors, and a bright, simple music in the background.

The purpose of the video is to answer a series of questions. The first question is, "What is North Platte Berean all about?" Answer: our mission. The second question, "What does that actually look like?" Answer: pursuing our values in the life of the church and the individual. And the third question, "How do we do that?" Answer: the three strategies that God has given us.

Our design ideas are to have the mission at the top, and then somehow have our values reveal themselves in a way that aligns with the question we are trying to answer with the values ("What does our mission actually look like in the life of the church and the individual?"). So, I don't know if that would be illustrated by having the mission statement rotate to the side so that it looked like the four values would be supporting the mission statement, or just have four lines shoot from the bottom into four different bubbles, or something else. The four values would each have some sort of vector graphic representing them (we are thinking of a treasure chest for Treasuring God, a Holy Spirit dove at the center of someone's chest for Being Transformed, a man helping another man up off the side of the road for Loving People, and a multitude of people standing together for Pursuing Unity). Lastly, out of each of these values there would three lines that point to our three strategies, illustrating that we can achieve each of these values through the Word, prayer, and community.

As detailed as that is, we are very open to creative suggestions or design alterations.
