A Program that counts the number of files transfered through USB and the time of tranfer

Please i need a help on the person that can help me program a software that can be able to count the number of files that was transferred through USB and record them in a database with date of the transfer so that one can call of the number of flies transferred through the USB in a day. Waiting to receive a help from someone. I am a girl from Nigeria, I am a computer science student. This is my project work and i really need a help on it.
