Web Pages Collection and Information Extraction Instructions -- 2

Please note: Only bids from US workers will be considered 1. Project Descriptions The purpose of this project is to design a system to collect project, bidding, and worker information from an online freelancing website. 2. System Specification The system needs to have the following functions: • Collecting information on new projects and new bidders for these projects (not collected yet) every three days • Updating information for collected projects (projects existing in the system) every three days. • Processing collected web pages and put extracted information into database (SQL Server is preferred). • If errors occurs, the system will alter by sending emails. The collection will have two stages: Initial stage and update stage: • Initial stage: Collecting existing projects (active and some ended projects) • Update Stage: Collecting new information and updating information for existing collection.
