I need an eCommerce site built from ground up including maybe a logo art.
Please note. I am only referencing pizza information to put this project into well known perspective. My eCommerce site is not Pizza related.
Visit any major online pizza store for example. (Papa Johns, Pizza Hut).
Requirements
-Shopping Cart
-CMS
-Access Levels (Supervisor - All Access -, Customer Service Representative -Orders-, Webmaster -Change Content Only-)
-Shopper to manage user data, past orders, reorder previous order, recurring orders)
-Might have multiple shipping / billing addresses in the event they purchase gifts.
Like Pizza shops, it needs these items:
-Regular shopping cart items (like Soda, Appetizer, Gift Card)
Then for the "pizza phase"
-Select Base product (i.e. Hand Tossed, Deep Dish, etc)
-Select Mix-ins ( Toppings: Cheese, pepperoni, sausage, etc. etc) Max select options.
I want the "Pizza Phase" to be modifiable. In the event someone chose the wrong mix-in, they should be able to click "Modify", and return to the previous screen to reselect the mix-in. When they Add to Cart again, it replaces the original.
The whole system requires login, however with a guest checkout option that we can toggle on or off.
Shipping would be FedEx.
Integrating a shipping price API from FedEx may be required. [login to view URL]
We use Intuit Merchant Services (Visa and Mastercard Only). We want this to be used. And their gateway API will be required. [login to view URL] I don't know this area, so you must already know how to do this or be a quick learn. :)
We can also consider PayPal integration, which we can turn on and off in the CMS (Off by default until we're ready for it, must be fully functional through the sandbox)
And we need to have gift-card purchasing / using gift cards as payments.
Login will store authentication tokens on the database, which is re-validated at each page load. (I'm sure this is standard, but I will thoroughly check this)
Expire after 15 minutes of inactivity.
At the end of this project, I will maintain the website.
I am a PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS Developer myself, but I am also Operations Manager of this company. Therefore, I've run out of time trying to complete this in lieu of my other responsibilities. I will require extensive time with the database structure and code to test security, data integrity, and check for bugs.
I want this to look great and launch ready by the time we are finished.
