Interspire Modification to the Product Thumbnails

Hello all, I am currently running interspire 6.1.8 but I need a modification doing to the product thumbnails..

The boxes are currently set to 120px by 120px and because im selling banners which are longer width than height, image is being cut into a square, and both sides of the banners are missing..

The other option is to resize the picture but then it is too small too really see.

I would rather the product page become a 2 column and now a 3 clumn to justify the wider pictures...

Please can you help. I have gave up trying..

On another note, I dont have much money but if anyone is willing to help me to get off the ground and I will reward them 5 star feedback I would be greatful..
