Make Application from Github "build" properly using Windows 10 / Visual Studio / C++ / Boost

Knowledge Required: Visual Studio / C++ / Boost / Windows 10 I am trying to use a movie organizing application that I downloaded from Github: [login to view URL] I need to make some changes to this program to customize it a little bit, but when following the app creators instructions on how to get it to build in Visual Studio using Boost and the source code, the project never builds correctly and errors out. I am not a programmer and have no idea why it is failing during the build process. I have tested random sample projects via Microsoft's website and those build just fine. I am using the latest build of Windows 10 and Visual Studio 2010 Pro. I have also tried Visual Studio 2013 Community. He tells how to use the Boost files already contained in his downloadable source code, and how it should work with either version of Visual Studio 2010 or 2013, but no luck with either for me. Nobody has updated this app in over a year and nobody seems to be responding on it anymore. Long story short, for someone that knows what the heck is going on, this should be very simple. I just need someone to figure out why its not working and show me (via Teamviewer or detailed instructions) how to make mine work on my laptop, so that I can start customizing files and building it back properly on my own system. PS - I am capable of making small changes myself once this is working, but after I am done with the basic changes, I will still be hiring someone to make some bigger changes that I cannot do, so there will be more money there. IMO, this should be fairly easy for anyone that knows C++ and/or Boost really well. I am hoping someone can knock this out in (1) hour or less, which should be no problem if you know your stuff I would think. Thanks in advance for anyone willing to tackle this for me!
