I need a resourceful and experienced web developer who can rectify an issue with my website's pop-up frequency. Currently, the pop-ups are being displayed far too often, disrupting the user experience on my website and possibly adversely affecting traffic.

The job entails altering the pop-ups so they only appear once per visitor session. Ideally, this pop-up should be triggered when a user first enters the site, enhancing the engagement instead of overwhelming the user.

Potential candidates must have experience with JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3, alongside a solid understanding of website user experience. Familiarity with different pop-up / modal libraries and notification APIs will be extremely beneficial. The right person for this job should be able to handle this task efficiently and promptly.
