I am looking for a good JQuery, .net, XML and Front-end developer to build an app for our website that pulls in all the photo sets and galleries within a Flickr account.
You will need to use the Flickr API at [login to view URL] to connect to the account and bring back ALL photo galleries, photos and meta data for each photo and gallery. We would want all the information inserted into a well constructed XML file - that the front end website design would use.
The XML will also enable us to hook it into a simple CMS to update the 'account/photo information' and Meta data to use/display.
The Front-end interface will be launched within a lightbox style window. We use Colorbox which can be seen at [login to view URL]
The application consists of several interaction pages. Design UIs are attached.
1> Photo Gallery list page - Shows list of videos in grid within a horizontal scrolling carousel. We use BBC's glow framework, which you may also want to use. As long as it is a 360 carousel - so that start and end are endless loops. We have shown the interaction states. When clicking on a video, we would like a cool JQuery transition where the video thumb grows into the video player. We would also need to integrate the Facebook 'iLike' and 'ShareThis' social bookmarking functionality to each gallery/set.
2> Photo Gallery Page - selected Photo Gallery displays here. We will need to be able to configure the usual colours and sizes of the player within the XML (borders/backgrounds/text colours/hover colours, etc). The photos within the gallery will be displayed in a vertical scrolling carousel to the left side - to allow the user to scroll back and forth through the photos. Clicking on a photo thumb will load the large photo in the main window. The photo title and description will fade up and show (if one exists). The user can also scroll through the photo in the main frame by using the large left and right scroll arrows. This will also update the highlighted thumb on the left vertical carousel.
3> Photo Gallery Controls - When the user moves their mouse over the large photo, a simple control panel will appear in the middle. This will allow the user to 'play' the photos as a slideshow (we will need ability to update transition speed in XML - or somewhere else that you recommend). They will also be able to 'share and like the photo - as per the Photo Gallery. Finally we would like the option for the user to embed the entire photo gallery within any 3rd party website - as a widget.
We need this to be .NET and NOT PHP or opensource.
That's about it.
I am also interested in anyone who can create this widget to also integrate with Facebook photos too.
Let me know if you have any questions.
