Increasing the Contest Prize Money
If a contest’s prize is deemed insufficient, freelancers may request for a prize increase by using #increaseprize on the contest’s Public Clarification Board. You can see their request in the Comments tab of your contest.
How to increase the contest prize
Go to the My Projects page, select the Client view, click the Open Contests tab, and open your contest.
When you’re on the contest page, go the Details tab and click the pencil icon to be on Edit mode.
You will be able to make quick changes to your contest, particularly on the prize. Simply enter the amount on the given field and click Save.
You will be directed to the payment cart to complete the payment of the added prize. You will either be prompted to add funds or use the balance in your account.
