Excel-based drift correction on ICP-OES analysis data.

Screenshot from a spreadsheet I created to model and correct for instrumental drift of ICP-OES instrumentation over the course of an analysis run. The spreadsheet imports raw data from the instrument and, using results from strategically placed check samples in a run, calculates instrumental drift by modelling a cubic regression of variances in element measurement over time.

关于我

I have a background in analytical chemistry, and outside of this site I largely work in areas relating to the development of new functionalities for ICP-OES and MP-AES instrumentation. I have excellent skills in data handling and manipulation, particularly relating to any aspect of instrumental chemistry. I personally complete all projects I am awarded, and never outsource any part of my work. I have experience in the creation of complex Excel formulas and VBA macros for data management, interpretation and reformatting, and can also help protect and unprotect/unlock Excel files. I am very familiar with verbal, numerical and logical reasoning aptitude tests from many providers, including CEB SHL, Kenexa, cut-e, Talent-Q, Cubiks, Pearson and others, and I am more than willing to provide assistance in this area. Feel free to contact me privately concerning any project which you feel I may be suited to!
