Customer support/ learner management advisor at present working online:
• Supervising learner progression and engagement in order to ensure that monthly study objectives are met (set by learners’ company or agreed between the advisor and learner)
• Providing expertise and support while answering learner queries regarding the self-study program and resources
• Communicating with learners via periodic contacts (at least once each month) either via e-mail or by phone (usually in learner’s native language)
• Keeping records of completed Advisor tasks (monthly progress checks / incidental contacts) in student database
I have a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Applied Linguistics and Teaching English to Speakers of other languages (Portsmouth The UK) + 10 years experience of teaching Business & General English (EF-Bristol, UK; IH-Lithuania); TOEFL certified (Canada/ The USA)
