Excel sound notifications
The application uses one of 2 possible ways to send sound notifications with Excel - Microsoft's Text-To-Speach processor build in VBA. It communicates user about real time data reaching alert trigger value, by reading predefined text in corresponding cells. Each data set has a limit of notifications, one per user defined number of seconds. It's to avoid spam, when the value keeps fluctuating around trigger level. Another way of sending sound notifications is to use .wav files - either default Windows system sounds or custom ones. You can make Excel play 'Happy Birthday to You' when opening file on Your Birthday or simply grab a mic, record own notifications and use Excel to play them based on specified conditions!
