Pictures of the site taken from my local copy of the program are posted here at [login to view URL]. As you must have seen in the link teklandia is a social networking site for technicians. The technicians can create groups, forums, profiles etc and post their problems and get them solved. They have acces to NESDA’s tips database and news, discounts on [login to view URL] I have written the code for groups permissions, admin control panel, profile page, messaging system, wall, albums page in OOP Zend MVC using PHP. Also, Initially I designed the database. For any social networking website the backend database is the heart because all the concepts like profile, groups, forums, messaging need to be related. So I have designed the database keeping in mind all the many-many , one to one, one to many relationships among the various tables like login table, profile, messaging, groups etc. Therefore I have strong grasp on Object oriented programming and database design without data redundancy. I have used OOP extensively not only to reduce code redundancy but to improve efficiency, code readability and take advantage of the powerful features of OOP.
• [login to view URL] is a news website I build myself in Joomla. I customized CSS and did backend modifications to the whole application.
• To get an idea about my joomla skills take a look at [login to view URL] and the level of customization I can do. I built the maps that show all the locations of parks across the United States. The website has a Iphones and blackberry version too.
• Shopjimmy is the largest electronic replacement parts seller. At [login to view URL] I have customized some of the modules like UPS shipping module, photo resizing, subscription, RMA modules in the magento site.
• [login to view URL]:- I have used Zencart to design the site and customized the modules, groups, discounts etc.
