Action-Packed Supporting Cartoon Character Design

竞赛简介

Im looking for a realistic cartoon person of caucasian decent. NOT TOO MUSCULAR. Blue eyes, short brown hair, a light beard. Looks like a construction worker but with no tool belt or construction style hat. This character would be at the forefront of the design as "THAT HARDSCAPE GUY". That is the name of my business. In the back ground I would like a courtyard/patio outdoor entertainment area that is under construction. This area can have a winding paver walkway, stone walls, fire pit etc. This would represent an outdoor living space. Google outdoor living space. I would like the area to be designed with clean lines, materials that compliment one another and flow well with the rest of the design. I will specify that I would like everything to be proportional. I don't want the main character to be so large that it takes away from the rest of the space. I would like for the design to pop. Im not looking for excessive effects or elaborate colors. Ideally the name of the business would be up top and centered at the top. A tracked skid steer in some portion of the construction zone would be ideal to have in the design. I would like to see a concrete saw in use by the main character. Maybe he is holding in his hand by the handle and carrying a paver or wall block in the other hand, as if he is toting the block and carrying the saw. Please be creative as I am attracted by unique designs and ideas. Please be open to communicate effectively. You can see a few pics as example of what I would like the courtyard to be comprised of. Not looking for a very cartoony pic but something that expresses artistic creativity. I think being able to keep the design clean, not too busy, simple and inclusive would be a key to having a winning submission

“This was a tough contest. Trying to communicate via text and limited pictures was a challenge. I’ve spoke with various artist here and received a lot of entries. Sifting through a lot of AI generated art was difficult. Communicating with artist about changes in different times zones and from different countries was a challenge. Mahmud, stepped out, communicated, and produced the closest thing to my vision and was willing to make numerous, small changes, large changes and in a timely manner. He was very professional, punctual and patient. His artwork is professional, clean and encompassed my vision. I’m grateful for his willingness and tentative feedback and execution of this project.       Sorry Mahmud Hasan, i understand your concern, if you have no idea or clear picture how to convey what you prefer, So to get the better picture and have improvisation, getting inspiration and motivation how to give the best out for Client expected and 100% satisfaction, I am the one who against the steeling other ideas or design, every one spend there hours and hours even a days of hard work. And you have worked other contest you get inspired by other design and made you design improvised right.

    you will notice in each of the designs that the guy is seemingly AI generated. He's isn't necessarily proportionate. BIG HEAD LIL BODY. I would like for the character to look more proportionate. Each of the designs have flaws in my opinion. For example there is one where the space isn't utilized to its capacity. The background space can be expanded so the detail of the hardscape is more visible and you can make out what the space is. It's the one where the guy is at the bottom right standing in front off the water feature. He could be moved so the water feature is more visible. There are 2 other example in the details board that each of the guys are rather big in relation to the design. it doesn't seem cohesive. the houses in the background can be removed and the design space can be better utilized with additional features of a hardscape. Adding a water feature. Removing the tool belt off the guy. Making the saw look like a concrete saw. Making the space look like its incomplete

      I am open. Half would be fine. I am going to make reference to a few designs that I like. They are AI generated and working with the designers have been a pain because its all generic AI inserts but if these designs can be taken into consideration as a concept of what im looking for then that may be a huge game changer

    Be careful of some Ai generated apps lazy work as you can see the looks and feel are all the same, The real artist create original work from scratch.

    maybe you should ask for the initial sketch first and take a peek at their portfolio page to see if they have done similar works, if they don't chances are they are just copy-paste bandits or Ai scammers..
