HELLO CONTESTANTS! thank you for your great entries so far!
I would like to request some changes!
1. Please see attached photo (called 'Gables'). I would love to reconfigure the shape of the house to be more like this picture. (I'm referring mainly to the 2 gables) If you look at the floor plan of the barn house, I think this can be achieved by simply pushing the living/diving & kitchen area out further to create that protruded gable. The deck would then simply have a flat roof over it. (if you can include a dormer window, like in the picture, that would be great too)
2. Please see other 3 attachments (North elevation, east elevation, west elevation) which has details written in that I would like included. (but please address point No.1 above first.)
3. PLEASE NOTE:the stairs on the north elevation actually go up the mountain (on the site plan I attached last time, the house should be set further back)
4. I think stucco might be a better option for the ground level (rather than stone/brick) as this will look cleaner/more contemporary.

Project : " Modern Rustic Barn House"
I would like my generic house plans to be improved/converted into a Modern Rustic Barn House. Please see current plans (attached) At the moment, I feel the plans are quite boring & shows no interesting detail. I would like a very charming & classic Barn house. (the hand sketch is much better than the CAD drawing & shows more detail)
*The 'MAIN' view of the house is the North East Corner. You drive up a steep driveway & look directly at the north east corner- so this should be the focus.*
I've attached 2 photos - one standing near where the house will be & another photo further down the driveway, looking up to where the house will be. (A possible suggestion is to remove the gable roof over the deck & just have a normal/flat roof instead, but this is just a suggestion)
*The roof will be tin - colourbond (trim deck profile in Monument colour) I have attached some images of these materials for your reference.
*Windows, doors & garage doors will be dark charcoal/black either aluminium or timber. .
*I would like the top level to be vertical timber cladding (please see attached pic for example)
*the bottom level, I am not sure what material or what colour this should be? (possible options are stone or brick or a stucco wall?)
*I like the 'cross' pattern on the garage on the hand sketch, so please keep this. I would also prefer French Doors rather than sliding doors throughout. A chimney on the North elevation might be nice, but is not compulsory.
* The front door is on the west elevation. I would like this deck to have a pergola over it.
