I want to have an app built that has the following functionality -
1. The purpose of the App is to allow Craftsmen to list the products that they have for sale and the products that they will have for sale in the coming weeks and / or months. The App should allow the craftsman to upload photos of the products and the date at which the product will be ready for collection. The craftsman will need to be able to list some information about the product including the cost / size / colour etc.
2. In order for the craftsman to be able to access all of the functions listed in point 1, the craftsman will need to be able to create an account and the App will need to be able to process payments from the craftsman. At this stage the craftsman will be be offered a monthly flat fee for access to the app.
3. Customers must also be able to download the app and install it on their phones. The customer will need to be able to create a free account which allow them to purchase the products listed for sale, but they are not able to sell anything through the app.
So what I am thinking is something like this -
App downloads to the phone and opens on a welcome screen. The screen has two main buttons for "Craftsman" and "Client". Both will need to be able to set up an account and then be able to log back into that account at a later time. The craftsman will have a listing of all the products he either currently has or is in the process of making - lets pretend the craftsman is a basket weaver. There will be a listing of the baskets currently in stock, but he will also want to list the baskets he is planning to make next week and next month. This way the craftsman knows what his future demand looks like and rather than making products and hoping he can sell them he is making them for clients who want them in the future.
The client logs in knowing they want a basket in 3 weeks time - so they can either look at the list of baskets already in stock or they can purchase one of the baskets that the craftsman will produce in the next three weeks. If they decide to purchase, they will need to order and pay now with the payment processed through Paypal.
For the contest please only work in Android.
The winner will be the person with the cleanest design and ease of use. Use generic basket weaving pictures if you want to illustrate your entry and if you want to demonstrate the functionality please put up a private video on YouTube and send me the link.

Clarification - I am looking for the contest winner to supply me a working app, but I do not expect that you need to build a completed working app just to enter the contest. So look at this as a two step process - 1. Design the layout of the App and use that the enter the contest. Make it a simple or as complex as you wish. 2. - The winning entry will be selected. 3 - The winner will build the app to the point where it works (the version 1.1 if you like). 4. The winner will be awarded the prize. 5. The winner and I will then work on version 1.2 etc and improve the app on a normal hour by hour charging. (This is how I normally work - if you want to change anything then let me know).

I think you might need to to separate this project into 2 pars. First is the UI/UX design. Focus on the on the User's needs and it's flow and it's visual design. Second is Mobile Development. This kind of approach is more suitable unless.
