Re-make instructions on how to use a selfie stick

I've attached a set of instructions on how to use a selfie stick and I'd like to make them a lot more interesting. The size needs to be 5.5in x 3.5in. The background is white.
Things I'd like to suggest to try:
1. Cartoon ish way. Could try having a little cartoon figure explaining the instruction in a balloon for each step. Our company are run by Scandinavians so we thought it could even be funny if the character was a little viking cartoon. As long as it's quite subtle. We would have to see it to decide whether it works or not.
2. Hand drawn with bold pen.
3. Modern and slick with graphics.
I'm also open to any other ideas.

I have a few questions: 1.Would you like this in some sort of short comic? Could there be a bit of comedy, or just get straight to the point? By bold pen, do you mean dark think pen? Or ball point?

It can be a short comic and it can be funny too. With bold bed hag just meant that the lines are pretty thick so it stands out more but as I say I'm open to suggestions. When I see some stuff I'll get a better idea of what I like and what will work better I think
