apache configuration mod_rewrite

This url:

[url removed, login to view]

redirects to

[url removed, login to view]

This happens through mod_rewrite

RewriteRule ^/[url removed, login to view](.*) /cgi-bin/[url removed, login to view] [R=permanent,NC]

I want the cgi script to be served up when someone requests [url removed, login to view], but I do not want the URL to change in the web browser.
