Custom Chrome build: remove warning message

In the most recent Chrome release 43 there has been a new warning message added that says "This site uses a Chrome plugin that will soon by unsupported". The plugin itself works fine, this message is just a warning. However it is scaring our users and leading to unneeded support questions.
While we are working on the rewrite of the plugin I need someone to build us a custom Chrome build, with 2 relatively simple changes:
1) Remove the warning message that was added in release 43 (the warning only happens on Chrome startup so should be relatively easy to find and remove)
2) Disable automatic updating of Chrome (optional, could also be solved by registry changes)
Please only reply if you have experience working with the Chrome source in the past!
