Hello, I'm looking to make a simple Drupal site (doesn't REALLY have to be Drupal if you can give me a good interface to add content later on).
Here's my own vision but if you have better ideas with the same functionality I'm more than open to suggestions:
1- Main page where I can add PHP and HTML code for Forex/currency/trading stuff on my own.
*Ability to add, remove and change pages and pin/unpin them from navigation.
2- A Members-only area where I can EASILY specify which pages can be accessed by members (I should be able to easily add and remove content that is only available for members).
* There are two categories of members, Affiliates and Users (I should be able to specify what each category can access). The user chooses on registration page what kind of membership he wants.
* There are premium pages which are accessible for only members who purchase them.
* Store payment is done with Paypal.
3- Said premium pages can be purchased on the site and a bin icon tracks you side-wide if you have decided to purchase access.
In conclusion, and in case you really hate Drupal:
I want a site in the finance business, and although I have comfortable with programming I am certainly not comfortable with making a members-only area and especially one with paid options. I suggested Drupal because this was the general direction I was heading towards as a base Druap with Commerce module should in theory realize my vision, but that is not a requirement. What IS required however, is modularity and an easy to use interface for adding future pages, articles and doing changes or maintenance to the site, adding more paid-only content/affiliate-only content and user-only content, some, or all.
**Somehow I managed to forgot the most important feature. The site has two languages; English and Arabic (Arabic is right to left, You can put placeholders and I will replace the text if Arabic is a problem). Not that Arabic is right to left so the whole interface has to shift depending on which language is selected.
