So I run a large Minecraft network with a large staff team and I am looking for a online portal for staff to login into to allow them to see statistics and data and also update records from the databases.
This portal must be secure to prevent unauthorized access to it. This means:
- Log failed login attempts
- Prevent exploitations of scripts/pages
- Prevent Brute forcing
The portal very simple at first and will be developed more over time. However, at first we require the following:
- Search for a player and display the memberships they have on each database.
- Be able to remove and update memberships easily.
- List all users with certain memberships.
- Be able to add/delete servers to look at membership of players
-View current staff that have access to the portal.
There will be groups so and users are assigned these groups and this will prevent them from accessing certain pages or doing certain things. Users cannot register however an administrator can add the user to the website so that they can login.
Groups
Member = Access to view data but not alter the portal settings or any data on any page.
Moderator=Same as the above currently
Manager= Able to alter memberships and delete them add new users to portal
Administrator = Access to everything and alter everything
Registration
To register a new user it will require the following details:
- Username
- Password (autogenerate)
Accounts all must be able to be deleted by and manager or administrator.
