I need a counter (resettable) which tracks the number of times a link has been clicked. (The link might be text or a div or an image - it's always a HTML a tag.)
I need to be able to have multiple separate counters. That means counter 1 might be tracking link id 1, counter 2 might be tracking link id 2, etc.
Here's a concrete example of how it should work:
1. I make a website and put a link to [url removed, login to view] on it.
2. Someone goes to the website and clicks the link. Some javascript is fired (or a redirect occurs) which allows the user to go to [url removed, login to view], but the click is also counted.
3. I could put multiple links on the website, and every click on each link should be counted separately. The click count can also be reset to zero separately.
4. The click counters are viewable on a separate page.
