DINOSAUR DAYS flash animated website-to-app project
This is a fun project, an animated dinosaur learning app for children, mainly girls. At the moment it is a CD and website but the idea is to create an app. It was developed in flash.
The project is to convert the existing Flash website, exactly as it appears online ([url removed, login to view]) to an iOS/Android app. All the films you see here will be part of the app. To see what would be available for the free version of the app, you can click around the free portion of the website. The paid version would be the same as the private version of the website.

The website is made up of Flash films with audio. Each short film is between 3-5 minutes. There is no interactivity in the films. Please review the sitemap to see exactly how many films are involved (attached).
What will NOT be included for the app at this point (definitely at a later stage) are the GAMES and the QUIZZES. Those are interactive items, which need more work. For now, just the films about each dinosaur and the films in the fossils/paleontology/evolution areas. There will be the “homework” items, which are just downloadable PDF documents.
This should work for smartphone and tablet. Vertical and horizontal for tablets and horizontal only for phone (otherwise it just gets too small).
All the artwork is finished and anything that might need to be created – such as navigation etc – I will do myself. All the films I will export as HTML5 items and hand over to the developer. What I need is someone with experience to simply put all this together, test it thoroughly on all platforms/screen sizes and then help me release it to the app store.
Please, do not bid on this project unless you have had a look through the site to see what’s in there exactly. Have a few ideas ready, something that can make it better.
