App project for Android smartphone and/or Windows phone.
This application is designed for specific work environments, where employees require control or supervision through the app.
We have developed the app in HTML5-Responsive; however, further control or limitations in the use of the application are required, as only calls and SMS to the “white list” contacts will be possible. Presently, the remote editing ability (without using the PIN2 in the SIM card) is not available as an option in Venezuela.
Within the app’s features in HTML5 the phone calling app is invoked, and upon finishing the call it automatically closes the calling app and returns to the main HTML5 app. Same applies in the case of SMS. When in the phone’s calling app, the phone number being dialed will not be visible, but only the name from the contact’s white list. The app will also detect and process the DTMF tones received from the phone number dialed.
For the phone’s restrictions, there are two options available:
Option A: Complete control of the smartphone: Blocking, or limiting the use of any other app of the smartphone except those authorized by this HTML5 app. When the phone is turned on, it will automatically open this app, and will not allow access to any other installed app.
Option B: The smartphone is blocked, and will only allow the opening of the HTML5 app (just as in the case of the phone’s camera, for example). Following the placement of phone calls or sending of SMS, the smartphone will return to the main HTML5 app. In this scenario, the smartphone will always remain blocked, and only allow access to the app.
