We need an app that is duplicating the features of our website project ebook-rabatte.de. There, you find listings of discounted ebooks (look at the site) in different categories. It is updated once a day. The app should load and show the first items quickly and then load and cache other items in the background so that the user doesn't have to wait when navigating in the app. Content is available on the server in a MySQL database.
Also, the promotional slider must be duplicated in a nice way. The button right below it (where the user can order a promotion) should be duplicated to a webview containing the linked page.
