A web-based programme or a desktop application capable of performing the following tasks is required:
1- Retrieving live data from Google Finance and saving them into a database (past data should also be saved and updated). Further, it should be possible to extract a set of data within a particular time frame.
2- Ability to visualise price of a stock within a given time frame and having a basic set of annotation/drawing facilities on the chart.
3- Ability to search the database based on various criteria (time, data price and etc); for example:
-Finding the lowest/highest changes for a particular stock (or a set of stocks) within a given time frame.
- Finding the stocks with the highest/lowest changes within a given time frame.
- Evaluating volume averages of stocks and detecting those deviated from the average.
