Green Seal

Visit the Green Seal web site ([url removed, login to view]). Browse around the site and become familiar with the site, particularly the section on how to become certified. Then read the GS-37 Standards (Cleaning Products for Industrial and Commercial Use), and the GS-33 Standards (Hotels and Lodging Properties), and look at the certified properties and products lists. Write a typed, six page, double spaced, paper with a cover page. Headings and subheadings are highly recommended. Half of the paper should be an evaluation of the GS-37 standard and half should be on the GS-33 standard. Focus on what you like and don’t like about the standards. Any recommendations that you have for the improvement of either standard should be in the paper. The paper should be turned in through the assignment function. Initial drafts turned in by October 21st at 11:59 p.m. will be reviewed and returned to the student with comments by October 28th at 11:59 p.m. The final copy of the assignment is due by November 4th at 11:59 p.m. Eighty percent of the student’s grade is based on content and 20% is based on style (e.g., grammar, capitalization, punctuation, etc.)
