Delete Files on a specific date

Hi to all,
I'm looking for a program/script of something similar that delete selected files on the hard disk of a pc on a specific date.
It must be activated one time and it must work in the background without any visual effects.
After that it works (on the specific date) it must delete it self if it is possibile.

I'm not sure it can be deleted yourself, but others objectives is simple to do. I'll write Windows exe application. Also it can be run as Windows service.
