Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and talented freelance Flutter developer to assist in the completion and enhancement of our mobile application. The ideal candidate will not only be responsible for implementing new features but also play a crucial role in mentoring an entry-level Flutter developer through the development process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsive UI Development: Assist in making our existing UI screens adaptive to various screen sizes, ensuring a seamless user experience across different devices.
- Integration of Social Media Features: Implement a 'Share to Snapchat' feature, allowing users to share content directly from our app to their Snapchat account.
- Push Notifications: Develop a robust push notification system using Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) and cloud functions. Notifications should be triggered when specific Firestore documents are updated, informing users about messages from friends and family.
- Additional Technical Enhancements: Assist in implementing various other functionalities, including navigation to specific pages and adding tab bars at the bottom of the app interface.
- Mentoring: The freelancer will be required to mentor and guide an entry-level Flutter developer. This includes demonstrating and explaining the development process via FaceTime or similar platforms, ensuring knowledge transfer and skill development.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in Flutter development.
- Strong understanding of responsive design principles.
- Experience with Firebase, including Firestore, FCM, and cloud functions.
- Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts in an understandable manner.
- Must know English and also be ready for video conferencing.
Terms and Conditions:
The selected freelancer will be required to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) and Intellectual Property (IP) agreement prior to code sharing and project commencement. Payment will be released upon completion of the project and adherence to the agreement terms.
