I want to build some type of user friendly site that artist and poets can meet and chat and combine their passions.
I haven’t decided on an official name yet but idea is a type of story boarding. So I want a picture that does a play on the term “Story Boarding”
My idea is to show someone in a position of being water boarded. Laying flat on a horizontal surface with the ‘feet’ end of surface raised at about a 30 degree angle.
The head is down.
Someone stands over the person facing front. They are holding what looks to be a picture (colored) over the mouth of the ‘victim’ lying down.
The standing individual (female?) is tipping a pitcher towards the reclined persons (male?) mouth (covered by the artwork). Out of the pitcher is a stream of words flowing down and splashing on the artwork.
I’ll leave the style up to the artist. All I ask is that it isn’t overly ‘cartoonish’. As in exaggerated features. The anatomy should be authentic. You can reference a room but it only needs to be simple lines and corners.
I do ask that the original be small (no more than 8x10) and as finely detailed as possible so that it will reproduce well on letterheads and business cards.
I’m accomplished enough at drawing to offer a rough outline if you need one.
