Form Validation for [login to view URL] popup on Shopify Cart

This project is for a Javascript writer who is familiar with both Shopify and [login to view URL]

On our Shopify store's [login to view URL] page we have a Highslide script running that pops up a modal window prompting the user for input (shipping info)--the form code is generated by Liquid and it is possible that there could be multiple forms/popups on the page.

We need a javascript that will validate the user has inputted either an address or an email address before allowing each Highslide window to close.

If you could also tidy the Highslide script and make the whole thing unobtrusive that would be a beautiful thing!
