Imagine a web page with a product to buy. Clicking on the <buy> buttons will bring the customer to a paypal and selection of visa card page where the user can either pay with paypal or key in their visa details. They will also need to key in where they are based (i.e. to what country the service will be delivered to). Such a facility may be required for the calculation of VAT as this differs by country.
The page will also have a facility where the user MUST put in their email address, together with an email confirmation box and both text boxes will be checked to determine whether the email is the same. This is to make sure the email is correct as this is the primary delivery mechanism.
On pressing <submit> and once the payment has been authorised the PHP script will call web services to obtain a unique username and password. The php code will call a function Login getUniqueUser() in tuniper webservices. The returned value Login will be defined as:-
Class Login { String username, String password }
We will supply you with the exact spec of the function call, but for now assume it is as above.
On obtaining the Login object the x-cart system will generate an email based on a template which includes the received username and password. Note: This username and password will essentially be the log-in details for the customer to gain access to the product.
