PHP Fixes with Wordpress Thesis Theme

b) Wordpress
c) Chris Pearson's Thesis Theme for Wordpress ([login to view URL])
If you do not have good knowledge of all 3 areas, please do not bid. You must have your own legit copy of the Thesis theme.
Project has two parts
1) I have a geotargetting script that pulls a feed of Amazon books into my Wordpress blog, serving either a UK or US page. My server recently stopped using the PHP Include function which broke the script, and I don't know what is a suitable alternative. This should be a very quick fix for someone knowledgable with PHP
2) Once the geotargetting script is fixed, I want it to work with the Thesis theme. Prior to the script breaking due to the PHP Include problem, the script worked fine in most Wordpress themes but not within Thesis.
For the script to work, it needs to be incorporated into the Thesis sidebar and successfully read a custom field in each Wordpress post specifying the author. This custom field is read by the script and then returns a list of that author's books from Amazon.
The Amazon script is Jaap's Amazon Script
The geotargetting script is Maxmind free IP script

*** IMPORTANT - THESIS THEME KNOWLEDGE IS ESSENTIAL *** Please can you specify that you own a legit copy of the Thesis Wordpress theme (www.diythemes.com) and are familiar with its unique setup. I have had 10 bids so far and not 1 bidder has mentioned that they understand the Thesis theme. It is NOT a standard Wordpress template and you need to be familiar with its structure. Please provide URLs of previous sites you have built using Thesis. Thankyou.
