Build a e-Commerce Site In WordPress

I would like someone to create an e-commerce website in WordPress for my small local company. It should have a fairly simple theme and I would like to make some modifications to make it more modern. I will provide you with a list of all the items for sale and their respective prices so we can get the site up and running as quickly as possible.
In addition, I would also like help with getting the site up on my hosting package with Hostgator. I have tried to set it up on my own but it is not working at all. I will give you all the authentication to set it up but I would like to be taught how to set it up in case I have problems in the future.
