I need a piece of software developed that when a PCMCIA RAM card is inserted into a machine it automatically takes the data of the card stored in a LRG file (tab delimited text) and inserts that data into an oracle database the software will manage this database and produce reports on the trends of this data and manage runs for bin lorries that are bringing the RAM cards off. i.e. bin lorries are sent out with weighing equipment on them when they lift the bin the bins barcode is automatically read of a chip and this data and the bins weight and the date and time is automatically recorded to a RAM card. This ram card is then taken back to base and inserted into a pc there. This software that needs developed starts at this point the office pc then has to read that data of the card and insert it into the database and generate the reports. The code must be well laid out and commented with variable definition being relevent i.e proper naming of variables. The code must be modular with the aspect of future modules to include billing of customers dependant of weight and trends and issuing of fines dependant on weight or trend. The software must install using install shield and ask the DSN while installing for installs on exsisting systems it will use the database already in place but for new installs it will create the tables to be used.
