Setup The Fox Forrest Theme (Wordpress) & move domain from Hostgator to new host

I am having a lot of trouble with this theme I purchased with putting the content demo up & having it look more or less like the wordpress demo so I can just put my content in.
My wordpress needs to be completley reset (it's not working to just delete & reinstall it) and then set up the theme & demo (XML file)

Hostgator says it's because the theme is trying to access the root file & that I must purchase a VPS, which I refuse to do for a theme. So I am thinking if this cannot be solved, I need to move my domain to a new site like Pressable (or open to suggestions) to have the theme set up there.
