Configure rented Debian Server for basic web server functionality

I had difficulty with my hosting account and switched to a rented cloud server. It is Debian x64. I need to configure the DNS server, the Web Server and move my hosting content there. I currently only have SSH access to the server. I'll appreciate if you can establish some remote desktop to it as well.
