Hello, my name is Kimberly Baum and I am a young graphic design professional looking for freelance job opportunities. Although my field of expertise is graphic design, I am also willing to take on projects beyond the graphic design field.
I graduated Cum Laude with a BA in Art from Westfield State University in May of 2013. I majored in art and concentrated in advanced graphic design, while I was a student there, but my internship and work experience is really what taught me everything I know now that I could bring to your corporation.
I am currently a freelance graphic designer and I am also a contracted graphic designer at Elite Academy of Dance in Shrewsbury, MA; designing their annual spring dance recital programs since the spring of 2011.
My past work experience includes being the graphic designer at Shrewsbury Health & Racquet Club, and later on Shrewsbury Athletic Club, when the company was put under new ownership. I also have interned at Worcester Hydra (a semi-professional soccer club), Avery Dennison Corporation in Framingham, and DIF Design in Springfield; as well.
Being an art and a graphic design alum, I have completed the following courses: Graphic Design I and II, Typography, Computer Graphics I and II, Numerous Graphic Design Internships, Design, Color, Drawing, Illustration I and II, and Art History I and II. I also have experience with the following software programs: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Quark XPress, PowerPoint, Word, iPhoto, iMovie, and iDVD. I have some experience with Flash and a little experience with Dreamweaver and HTML, but I am a quick learner and will do whatever it takes to be successful.
I am currently looking for a freelance job opportunities in graphic design and beyond, and I would greatly appreciate it if you would consider me as an applicant. I am confident that I can be a positive contribution to your company.
Thank you so much for visiting my Freelancer.com profile and for taking an interest in me and my work! I am looking forward to hearing from you and working with you!
