Although medical research was absorbing, Angela found that she could make a more significant contribution to the world of science by providing language editing to writers for whom English was a second (or third) language.
Angela primarily edits papers in the medical and biological sciences. She also looks forward to assisting with research and non-research manuscripts from all fields. In addition to improving a manuscript's readability, she provides advice on grammar rules and conventions in academic writing.
To date, she has aided scientists and students from Malaysia, Yemen, Egypt, Iran, Sudan, India, China, Japan, South Korea, Turkey, Brazil, and Mexico.
Based in Southeast Asia, Angela is in the unique position of being a native English speaker (familiar with colloquialisms and writing norms used in UK and US English) while being able to translate uniquely Asian sentence structures into that which are more conventional. The result is prose that is clear, coherent, and does not sacrifice data or detail.
