An R&D project to develop a miniaturised laser driver and data acquisition (DAQ) system suitable for laser diode spectroscopy. This particular application was to detect presence of oxygen in hypersonic flight research. The system uses a wave-length stabilised laser diode which is modulated with various waveforms to scan required wavelength ranges.
