The world is filled with hundreds of problems that give individuals innumerable opportunities to contribute toward solving them and proving their expertise. I wanted to spend my life to help resolve various issues that would make life easy. It is hard to think of a domain that is going to change the world as much as data science will, in the decades ahead. After learning about the technologies like Database management systems, Data Mining and Business Intelligence and Machine Learning, I knew it could provide an expansive view in my pursuit of complexity. Not wanting to pursue a purely academic route, and to attain some hands-on experience in business and web development, I launched an e-commerce site ([login to view URL]), for which I learnt and came across various tools like the Magento framework. At present, a student of Northeastern University pursuing a Masters degree in Computer Science with a focus on Data Science and Machine Learning.
