As an IT Support Manager at Damco, I am taking care of all IT infrastructure support services.
Administer IT infrastructure / IT Services: Responsible for LAN, desktop and server administration; troubleshooting, network project management in a 500+ seat software development environment within the enterprise WAN. Included a complete VOIP environment rebuild Network, Servers and Workstations Contributes to and assists with the maintenance of the information technology site plan. Ensure that the quality of IT Service complies with the required standards. Proactive in their approach and ensure the identification of potential information technology problem areas.
IT Infrastructure Inventory Support: Responsible for preparing, revising and submitting IT Inventory reports to the relevant management and present these at the relevant forums. This includes reporting on all statistics relevant to IT Support operations metrics and making recommendations for service improvement to sustain business for Dimension Data.
IT Audit Support: External IT audit engagements including system platform audits, Compliance Readiness reviews, IT Risk Assessments, change management, and business process control assurance Policies on information asset protection, data classification, operating system platform security, network security, and acceptable computing resource use.
Cisco Technical Support: Providing Cisco UCM support to all Cisco IP Phones users. Working using Cisco UCM running on a 2900 router to provide call processing, Phone feature, VOIP administration and directory services. Maintaining and administration of ASA 5500 series firewalls and configure their feature as per the network infra requirements. Handle and prioritize high-complexity IronPort issue. Provide top-tier support and operational for best in-breed internet security technology. Providing of inbound/outbound ASA rules as per the user requirements.
IT Policy & Documentation: Developing IT policy documentation (ITSM) based services to clients using ITIL best practices for various functions like. Incident, Problem, Change, Release, Configuration Management and Service Desk. Remaking of all Network infrastructure diagram according to management process.

As an IT System Manager at ValueFirst, I am taking care of all IT infrastructure & data center support services.
•Administrate the network having more than 500 users, having more than 100 high-availability production servers in data center environment and 5 remote locations ensuring up time and load balancing. Investigate user and network problems, identify their source, determine possible solutions, test and implement solutions.
•Manages network operations to include: troubleshooting connectivity problems; installing & maintaining routers, firewalls and switches; adding/terminating users; assigning rights and access; resetting passwords; establishing e-mail addresses; assessing and reporting operational status; performing backups and restores; etc. Performs routine preventive maintenance on hardware and software.
• Install, configure, and maintain production servers, backup servers, file servers, RAS servers, Ethernet networks, network cabling, and other related equipment, devices, and systems.
• Plan and implement network security, including building firewalls, applying cryptography to network applications, managing host security, file permissions, backup and disaster recovery plans, file system integrity, and adding and deleting users.

• Establish and perform maintenance programs following company and vendor standards.
• Manage and administrate Microsoft Threat Management Gateway and Linux Based proxy server.
• Monitor network performance using the Orion NPM along with NCM, APN and IPSLA to determine whether adjustments need to be made, and to determine where changes will need to be made in the future.
• Maintain confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stored or accessed by the network.
• Document network problems and resolutions for future reference.
• Recommend changes to improve systems and network configurations, and determine hardware or software requirements related to such changes.

•Develops and maintains technology policies, standards and procedures manual; develops and maintains related technology checklists.
