## BIO
I was primarily a reverse-engineer, having delved into compilers, interpreters, security systems, and a wide myriad of other systems. Practically anything and everything I can take apart. For eg, I took apart the OFBiz framework within a week, and I now have an Ajax-enhanced version of the framework (Widget module enhancements, mostly).
I am also very competent with version control strategies, and have kept all my customized open source codes in step with their respective SVN/CVS streams. I employ a branch/explore/prune strategy to do most of my reverse-engineering and quick prototypes.
I am adept at handling any open source technologies, given my reverse-engineering inclinations. I love problem-solving exercises, but am also very goal-oriented (necessary for quick and targeted prototyping strategies).
I speak American English. We can do Skype. I write well, having been in the media and journalism disciplines for a time.
I've been serving private entities for a long time now. Despite my altruistic aspirations, I've not found a good way to contribute back to the open source community. I'm looking for a method to contribute, and still be able to feed myself. I've been on both ends of the spectrum, trying to be all too altruistic, as well as throwing my hands up and simply working for the highest bidder.
## Area of Expertise
* HTML/CSS
* XML technologies
* Linux/Apache/MySQL/PHP
* PostgreSQL, MSSQL, optimizations of RDBMS systems
* Java, clustering, concurrency programming
* C/C++, including small-memory-footprint apps for embedded devices
Actually, just about anything I can get my hands on. If there are free manuals OR source codes included (like PHP), I can pretty much take apart the language or toolkit and figure out how to use it.
One example is OFBiz. I took it apart in a week. Some long-time OFBiz developers had complained that they can't possibly remember every trick or quirk in OFBiz. I read the source codes like an open book.
