What does Xsolus mean?
Many of our customers tell us that they think Xsolus means 'Excellent Solutions' and for them that is correct; we've been providing excellent solutions to difficult and diverse challenges for more than 10 years now.
In fact, Xsolus is derived from the latin words 'Ex': Not or no longer and 'Solus': Alone or isolated. Thus our company name means 'No longer alone' and reflects our belief in the power of technology to change the way people work together and also in the way we work with our customers to help them achieve their goals.
But now Xsolus means a new way of working; because we're making a big world more manageable.
The Idea
We've seen the power of convergence in our every day lives. Our cell phones, digital assistants, sound and video entertainment devices, and computers are all coming together into intelligent devices or a constellation of devices.
We believe that our clients' business needs require a partner that can work the same way. That's why we bring all the technology, services, and methodology required to help a customer to go from idea to enterprise.
We hired the right mix of software developers, web developers, graphic artists, contact center agents, project managers, and information technology architects in the United States, Canada, the Philippines, and India that our clients need to make that leap in a cost effective manner. We blended the best from each region based on more than 10 years of experience in outsourcing without adding the bureaucracy associated with other multi-nationals.
We created our own software not only to manage our projects across the planet, but to co-ordinate every interaction in our call centers. We had experience working with the leading call center software available, but we found it too cumbersome, so we wrote our own. We used project management software that everybody uses, it didn't do the job, so we built our own.

Plan A - Idea to Enterprise

Plan B - Outsourcing Non-Core Pieces

Proving It
One thing our senior team has learned over the years is that visibility and planning are the key to success. We developed our own on-line project management tool where our customers can interact with our team on a daily basis. We map out the project in a project plan form, first at a high level, and then at increasing levels of detail with detailed information attached to each task. This helps us to interactively determine the required budget and to flush out all the information with customers participating in our internal information sharing. At this point you can watch our progress towards milestones.
Customers can see the progress of task and sub-task execution spanning the globe in real time.
Also certain customer provided materials are critical to the process of moving our project forward and our tools illustrate the dependancies perfectly.
Our style is to make sure that all work packages are set up as 2 week or less milestones. This is just long enough to give us the flexibility to deal with the realities of the countries we work in, but short enough to ensure nothing is ever out of hand. So for our customers that means that we are proving our value at every step of the way. No failed projects.
