Approximately 3 years ago I had a logo designed on freelancer, it has served us well!
However we now need a new logo that is more corporate in nature and styling.
1. I want to keep the same colours that we are using due to company stationary that we are utilizing, though lighter shades can be used including incorporating black and white to give good aesthetics and create the right logo.
2. I want a clean and smooth look, not the staccato appearance that our current logo has.
3. I am wanting a font that flows nicely in form to give a logo that makes the company name remembered.
I have attached my current logo for reference,
Our full company name is Evans Technologies, but the abridged name we use is : Evtec
I would like two versions, one with both the full name and the abridged name incorporated in the logo, also a version that has the abridged name only.
What is that we do!
Evtec identifies problems within numerous different fields and industries then designs and develops solutions which are released to company's under manufacturing licence.

Thank you for all the entries, We are starting to narrow down what we like. We prefer the fonts to be more rounded with a nice symmetrical appearance, and the symbol to be rounded or circular in shape, also positioned to the left hand side of the wording with a clean balanced size relating to the name.... Thanks.

Please take note of how Evtec is spelt!! It is hard for me to gauge a design by how it looks when it is spelled incorrectly, it also makes it hard to have faith in a designer who cannot follow simple instructions, I am starting to see some interesting design ideas that are getting my attention, and I am posting feed back to those ones directly... Please read the description carefully! NO staccato means NO square block style gears or spanners. I want very clean smooth styling circular types of styling instead of gears are ok, if you want to incorporate a lines and crests and arcs into your logo design I welcome them, BUT they must be smooth and flow symmetrically with the rest of the design... Thank you.
