3D digital blueprint & design
This initial contest is to design a unique and industrial look for this simple piece of perspex measuring 19cm x 19cm this can slightly be increased to accommodate a new design maybe 20cm x 20cm (however holes need to be in same places.
Each outer hole is 8mm , two identified top inner holes 6mm and finally centre 2 holes are 1/4 bsp which I would like to be made smaller enabling after print to be tapped
- Around each 8mm outer hole there should be a protruding ridge and inset for a washer to sit
- Thickness needs to be around 18mm - 22mm
Attached images are scanned copies of the current hole positions and sizes taken on an A4 scanner, The actual size of the current plate is 19cm x 19cm.
The design is to be in a single colour plastic and to look industrial and robust - the design will form 1 of 2 identical end plates that are bolted together.
The winner of this competition will also receive a second paid project to further develop the winning concept design.
