I need a small specific item that needs to be printable with a 3D printer -
Tubular
Approx 7mm in diameter in two halves
Will support an internal 41mm tube of approx 2.7mm diameter
Tube that goes inside is about 41mm x 7mm the two halves must protect and hold it in place
Where it supports the tube on either side it should not be smaller than 1.5mm and not bigger than 1.8mm to allow cable to pass through then open up to the end diameter below (Protects Cable where it enters each end and the jacket is stripped back on the inside where the cable can be joined in the tube)
Overall the length will 60mm
It will be in two halves initially with clips that lock it together
It will form a 3.1 mm hole on each end but be designed to clamp down slightly with threads
A separate end (essentially a round nut) will thread on either end and clamp it down to 2.5mm when tightened.
The threaded part must be no more than 5mm long on each side
The specifications listed below are correct.
The example picture ***is only approximate*** You design can be different. Only the specifications matter.
Along with the STL files I need a full CAD drawing of the 4 separate pieces with all dimensions both internal and external listed.

Here is a different approach. I will present the problem you present your solution. Problem: a jacketed cable is cut. Cable diameter is 2.8mm to 2.9mm. I strip off the jacket and repair the thin copper/platinum in the middle with a special crimp sleeve that is 2.5mm x 40mm. The jacket is stripped back 5mm each side still from the crimp sleeve. I need to protect the whole repair. Protection cannot move. Cable needs to go back in a tight pipe so diameter of protection matters. Remember This needs to be in 4 pieces so I can insert the repair carefully. It it is 2 nuts and a solid single piece I cannot insert the repaired cable. Show me your solution.

2 cables with jacket (that have been repaired and are crimped together in the middle) enter each end of a 60mm tube bottom half. The repair is protected in the middle. The top 60mm half is placed. Two plastic nuts which have been slid down the cable on both sides are tightened on the threads on either end gently "squeezing" or "clamping" the jacket so that the repair is protected.

2.8 -2.95mm So the ability to "squeeze" the cable from 3.0mm to 2.5mm as you tighten the nut would be advantageous
