  I feel disappointed, you are giving high ratings to generic template logos, they may look ok but they're not going to let you stand out.
  Sadly, the reality check will come after the contest, when you try to trademark one of those generic logos and get rejected because it looks exactly like someone else's logo. A logo is about what your audience likes, it's about what your brand needs, not what you think you want. I recommend you to do some research before you rate, visit sites like shutterstock and the like and type "ocean logo" and you'll find a lot of these, pick them and you'll get lost in the shuffle. Choose wisely, best of luck and have a good day.

     I might agree with most of what you're saying, but how could you know more about the audience than the CH? Do you live in his area? Do you know anything about their needs or about the competition in the area?
     But what is to notice in this contest, like in many other contests on this platform, is the discrepancy between the "icon" and the font. It is painful to see the atrocities they put on overused mockups. But they're doing their best, I can't blame them, after all, we live in a society

     You're right Georgiana, I don't know the audience better than the CH, I only have an idea, this kind of projects are very limited and different from regular client work, the time is not enough and the brief is too short, we do the best we can with what we have, but the truth is we're all shooting darts in the dark. I would've loved to explore the brand identity with the client and create the perfect logo, but I did the best original design I could, based on my finite graphic design knowledge (I never stop learning, and have a long way to go). I'm not necessarily asking to for my design to be picked, I only want the rating to be fair; what I'm sure off is that choosing a generic template is not what the CH needs to be competitive in the market, that's all.
