Would like a navy blue (probably PET #1 or Nalgene) plastic food grade (human) filter frame with nylon filter screen. I need it to fit inside a vessel with a 110/400 neck finish with lid and it can't be taller than 6 inches. I'd really like it to be like the Perma permanent coffee filter only stretched to the size of the Hario tea filter in the .pdf attached. I am looking to have the permanent filter made to size (would prefer a navy blue color but can discuss other colors). There isn't anything in the aftermarket that will work for us and not to mention that this will be a component in our product for resell so we would probably like our product name embossed.
Basically, it will be a cup frame with nylon screen inside of a handcrafted ceramic pitcher. It will be used as an infuser for the inside of the pitcher. Would there be a difference if it was for hot or cold water? Most of the naturals (sort of like a tea with different herbs and fruits) use room temperature water but some customers might like to use it for hot tea as well (not something we had considered before). Please see the attached .pdf for an idea of what we are looking to have made.
Every manufacturer that I speak with needs a CAD file to provide estimates for manufacturing. And I need estimates to secure investors and financing.
Since you do this for a living and I don't. Your knowledge set might be saying make it with stainless steel filter screen in plastic frame for example, if there is something better, easier or cheaper that I should use then please let me know.
